ReplyDeleteThank you for taking up this ministry. I want to thank you for your CD Capture Me as it has been so encouraging & refreshing to me. I would like to suggest that instead of designating May 28 as a talent night, that it be called a Worship Night. Yes, the purpose is to display many talents to glorify the Lord, but talent night suggests a pursuit of the flesh where as a Worship Night conveys glorifying the Lord. I realize this might be considered as hair splitting & unimportant to some. What I suggest is a subtle nuiasance; however, words can be very powerful & can lead to deception. We are to be faith based not works based in our pursuit of the prize of Christ Jesus. I didn't quite agree with the Chili Cook off last summer. Yes ~ it's fun to do these things, but we need to keep the Lord the center of our attention in word & deed. I relish worshipping the Lord & I hope to some day join in your ministry, but for now must support from the sidelines. Please forgive me if I have offended in any way as this has not been my intent. And thank you so much again for creating the CD ~ I can't tell you enough how it has supported me through my trials and keeps me clinging to what the Lord has for me as track 5 goes.
